The adoption of Scarf’s analytics toolchain is growing, but we are needing someone who is passionate about driving additional users while forming long-term, strategic partnerships with open-source foundations, consortiums, and businesses.  While it’s required for you to have experience dealing with stakeholders in open-source, we’re looking for someone who can execute across multiple projects ranging from building brand awareness, giving demos of Scarf 1:1 to key influencers and companies, and developer community engagement. 

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of all brand content and the establishment of our brand identity
• Collaborate with product teams to incorporate feedback into the product roadmap  
• Develop strategic partnerships with companies and key influencers within the open-source community
• Revise and maintain the marketing plan and optimize performance
• Work closely with the CEO to iterate upon Scarf’s positioning and messaging 
• Demo Scarf’s product to prospective users 

Requirements 

• 3-8 years of experience in partnerships, early-stage sales, and/or growth marketing
• The ability to strategize and lead marketing and brand strategy in the space of modern-day developer tooling and enterprise software. You’ll need to know these spaces deeply
• Familiarity working directly with or alongside of developer advocates who have built developer communities from the ground up
• Exceptional writing skills
• A love of fast-paced startup environments
